Volunteer
What could be better than making a real difference in the lives of those in need in your community? At Peninsula Family Service, there are many diverse opportunities for volunteers to give generously. With opportunities like Senior Peer Counseling, serving meals, reading with children, conducting educational workshops and working behind the scenes with our staff, this is something for everyone!
We ask that all new volunteers attend an orientation, a free hour and a half tour and information session, to learn about the organization, to work with the volunteer coordinator in order to find the best match for the volunteer’s interests and our needs, and to complete a volunteer packet. Read on to find out when we will hold our next orientations.
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities. Find out how you can help here.
Opportunities for Groups
A group of co-workers, church members, neighbors, friends or students can make a big difference in the lives of Peninsula children, families and older adults through a one-time project or ongoing commitment. View group opportunities here.
Internships
We offer summer internships to students who are currently in their sophomore or junior year at a local high school and are at least 15 years old. Learn more here.
