Peninsula Family Service serves nearly 20,000 children, families, and older adults every year. They come from all walks of life and their necessities are all very personal and very real. They come to us to help change their lives, and for the hand-up we offer through our programs and services that can empower them to move to a more self-sufficient future.

We can give you the hand-up you need to gain lasting life skills and to create a stable and self-sufficient future for you and your family. We offer services seven days a week in English, Spanish, and other languages as needed.

The People We Serve

Many of our clients are children and single mothers who have been victims of domestic violence; others are at-risk, low-income families and seniors. Our individual and group counseling gives them tools to identify their needs and helps get them back on track.

Our programs include subsidized educational childcare for infants, toddlers and preschoolers and low-interest loans for cars and housing to help families get off public assistance. For older adults in our community, we provide more than 225 hot meals a week and numerous daily activities in addition to job training and placement services.
