Elder Talk

Affordable Mental Health Services for Older Adults

For many older adults living on fixed incomes, private therapist fees are too costly and many providers don’t accept Medicare. Our Elder Talk program can help!

The program is offered to individuals age 55 and over, and professional counselors provide our mental health services. Medicare and self-pay clients are welcome. Clients are charged an affordable fee which may be reimbursed under Medicare or other coverage.

If you, or someone you know, could benefit from our Elder Talk program, contact Doris O’Neal, LCSW to set up an appointment (Monday and Tuesday only) at (650) 780-7525 or doneal@peninsulafamilyservice.org.

Please note that Elder Talk does not handle immediate or emergency issues.  If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency please call 911.
