Join our Upcoming Credit Building Workshop

For many Americans, establishing, repairing or maintaining their credit is a daunting task. Student loans, credit card debt and the high cost of living makes it very difficult to make ends meet. According to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the average credit card debt per household is $8,683 for those of us who do not pay our credit card balances in full each month.

At Peninsula Family Service, we believe that financial education is critical to help those in our community navigate the extreme costs of living in the Bay Area, while at the same time, provide them with assistance in establishing or repairing their credit.

To maximize our impact, we collaborate with nonprofit partners, acting as a central hub to give participants unparalleled access to community resources. Based on this spirit of collaboration, we are proud to announce a Credit Building Workshop in partnership with Housing and Economic Rights Advocates and the Washoe Native TANF Program of Santa Clara:

In this workshop, you will learn what is credit and why is it important, how you can improve your credit and what is identity theft and how you can correct errors in your credit report. So gather your friends and join us to get the tips you need to achieve your financial goals.
