Early Learning Program Updates: AR 22

INVESTING IN OUR TEACHERS In late 2021, California passed a bill to include a cost of living adjustment to early learning reimbursement rates per child, in an effort to address inequities between the standard reimbursement rate and the regional market rate ceiling. Annual Report 2021: Volunteers

Over the last eighteen months, individuals and group volunteers have continued to support Peninsula Family Service (PFS) participants with distanced projects to let our community know just how valued they are.   Food security has consistently been a high priority to the community PFS supports. DEDICATED SUPPORT from our AUXILIARIES  In FY 2020-21 our Auxiliaries demonstrated their dedication in many ways including remote fundraising events and service projects to support Peninsula Family Service (PFS) participants. One private family foundation has been deeply moved by the challenges our community members are facing and has offered grants of up to $5,000 to those individuals or families in need of more help.
