Register now for the Zoom webinar

Are you age 50+ and looking to shift careers or wanting to re-enter the workforce?

Join County Supervisor Joe Simitian and a panel of Silicon Valley labor market specialists to discuss how to overcome potential age stereotypes, upgrade skill sets, and build confidence to thrive within the workforce. Mature workers (age 50+) are an important part of today’s workforce, offering experience and abilities that are valuable to employers. This is a great time for mature workers to be looking for work—it’s more of a job-seekers market right now, and employers need skilled, good people.

Panelists include:

  • Brenda Brown, Director, Second Careers Employment Program, Peninsula Family Service
  • Anne van Tonningen, Career Adviser, Peninsula Family Service
  • Jen Cheyer, Program Manager, NOVAworks
  • Mature Worker Job Coaching Program participant
