Peninsula Family Service is currently soliciting letters of interest from prospective suppliers of meals in order to comply with federal regulations governing the program in matters of procurement. The contract will be for meals served to children at the Peninsula Family Service childcare centers located in Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Mateo, Daly City, and South San Francisco. The selected vendor will provide approximately 324 breakfasts, 301 lunches, and 356 snacks daily at the locations indicated above for children ages six (6) weeks to twelve (12) years, and the meal pattern must meet the USDA meal pattern for children ages six (6) weeks to twelve (12) years. Additionally, meals served under this contract must meet the requirements of 7 CFR Part 226, Child and Adult Care Food Program Regulations.
The Bid will be open on March 26, 2019 at 9AM. The Bid will be closed on April 10, 2019 at 5PM. Bids received after closing time will not be considered. In Addition, only sealed bids will be accepted. As required by USDA, the contract will be awarded to the lowest, most responsible and responsive bidder.
