Mingle with a Mission Tickets On-Sale!

Saturday, May 14, 2016, 11am – 1pm
31st Union – 5 S Ellsworth Avenue, San Mateo

Join Peninsula Family Service for our second annual Mingle with a Mission, a morning of delicious food and inspiring conversation in a modern take on a tradition started by Thomas Jefferson at Monticello: The Jeffersonian Dinner Brunch.

Here’s how it works:

10 people + 1 table + 1 Question = An unforgettable morning!

Guests will be seated at 10-person tables and joined by a Peninsula Family Service moderator. After filling up on brainfood (i.e. mouthwatering farm-to-table fare from 31st Union) and getting their creative juices flowing with a mimosa or two, we’ll kick off the morning with a fun, fast-paced discussion about transportation.

How long would your morning commute be if you had to rely on a combination of Caltrain, BART, and VTA? How would your trips to the grocery store change if you had to carry your shopping bags home afterwards? Participants in Peninsula Family Service’s Ways to Work program used to face those challenges everyday. Thanks to the program’s low-interest vehicle loans, those hardworking men and women now own reliable, personal transportation.

Through our Jeffersonian Brunch, guests can gain unique perspective into the lives our community’s most vulnerable low-income populations. Join us!
