For the fifth time, The Sobrato Family Foundation has awarded Peninsula Family Service one of its coveted Challenge Grants. Instead of simply writing us a check, the foundation challenges us to raise $100,000 in new or increased gifts by matching those donations 2:1. That means with your help, we could raise $300,000 over the next two years!
Which donations are eligible for the match?
All new and increased gifts are eligible for the match. New gifts are defined as donations from donors who did not give in our last fiscal year, i.e. between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016. Donors who have given in the past year can qualify for the match by increasing their gift, with the increased amount eligible for the 2:1 match.
How long does Peninsula Family Service have to complete the Challenge?
We have until June 30, 2017 to meet the challenge by raising $100,000 in new or increased gifts.
