Our Senior Peer Counselors (SPC), a diverse and inclusive group of volunteers, show compassion for our community members ages 55+ who request peer counseling. This group of specially-trained volunteer counselors provide weekly one-on-one visits or facilitate a support group for older adults. Peninsula Family Service to Partner with Lyft

We are excited to announce a new partnership with Lyft to help older adults access the resources they need to stay independent. Through Lyft’s new “Concierge” platform, Peninsula Family Service can schedule rides for our participants, many of whom don’t have the smartphones necessary to use ride-sharing services.
