Inessa Shishmanyan Chief Financial Officer
Inessa moved from Boston to the Bay Area in 2010. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from the Armenian Polytechnic University of Yerevan. She also holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Management and Negotiation from Brandeis University in Massachusetts. After moving to California, she attended Santa Clara University, where she earned a graduate certificate of advanced accounting proficiency.
Inessa has built her career in the non-profit sector as she believes in giving back to the community. In 2012, she joined the finance department at Peninsula Family Service and has provided support in several roles in the organization. Prior to becoming the CFO of Peninsula Family Service, Inessa served as the organization’s Controller. Inessa would like to bring more automation into the work environment, which would allow employees to spend less time on tedious and repetitive tasks and to focus on strategic and analytical tasks instead.
Inessa brings her expertise in the finance world as well as her passion, energy and enthusiasm to work every day. She enjoys working with numbers as much as she enjoys working with people.
